About the GMP InstituteThe GMP Institute was founded in 1977 to help companies comply with FDA's GMP regulations. The philosophy of the GMP Institute has always been that GMP makes good business sense, as it helps your company to implement practices which assure the quality of your products. Therefore, all of our training is centered in the belief that GMP should be a lifestyle, and not just a regulation. For over 20 years we have helped companies successfully coordinate, control and continuously improve performance by integrating the four GMP goals of productivity, quality, health and safety, and regulatory compliance. In the beginning, the Institute focused on helping pharmaceutical companies with their quality needs, but since then we have expanded our customer list to include international medical device, cosmetic, biotechnology, and food companies, as well as blood establishments, suppliers, and the FDA itself. On 1 January 2000, the GMP Institute was acquired by ISPE,the Society of choice for more than 24,000 pharmaceutical manufacturing professionals from 90 countries. ISPE aims to be the catalyst for “Engineering Pharmaceutical Innovation” by providing Members with opportunities to develop technical knowledge, exchange practical experience, and collaborate with global regulatory agencies. Founded in 1980, ISPE has worldwide headquarters in Tampa , Florida , USA ; Brussels , Belgium , and an office in Singapore to serve Asia-Pacific.
